Abstract Submission for Poster or Oral Presentation
Submission Deadline (EXTENDED): September 23, 2019
Authors can submit abstracts preferences for oral or poster presentation but the scientific committee retains the final decision to choose the presentation format. Accepted abstracts will be published in the online MITONET Booklet. Rapid Oral Communications are brief, 5 minutes maximum, presentations that address recent developments in the field. There will be 9 presentations, 3 presentations for each theme of MITO2019. Each presenter will have 5 minutes to present their work. Should your presentation be selected for a Rapid Oral Communication, you will be assigned to present on November 09, 2019.
Poster presenters are requested to prepare posters in size A0, in vertical orientation. Velcro stickers will be provided by the Conference organisers to affix posters to poster boards.

Authors affiliations and contact details (Full name, Phone, email)
Abstract (max 250 words)
Indicate whether you are a trainee and would like to participate in the Trainee Networking Lunch - mitoFutures on November 09, 2019.
We will consider gender balance when assessing submissions. We strongly encourage women to submit proposals and urge all colleagues to consider gender diversity when assembling submissions for MITO2019
Early Career Members
In order to support those at an early stage of career development, submissions that include junior colleagues are especially encouraged.
Symposia fostering trans-disciplinary and novel approaches especially from outside the traditional mold will be favored. Similarly, presenters from outside the core discipline are encouraged.
